AL Gore Recieves GDR letter in person 9-25-00
With beauty abounding in the world, we have our moments of joy. Our existence can be counted by what we contribute to our days of borrowed time. With each passing moment we take of natures gifts, we need to replace its essence to assure a continuous grant of blessings.
Too often, we expect others to clean up our mess and leave our troubles behind, but it is we who must lend a hand. Each of us has something to contribute, whether it be time given, or funds for the necessary water for a seed of hope to grow .
While the thoughts of this letter begin to open your mind and soul, let the following facts cry out for your heart to take action. Our energy needs have caused the problems of not having safe places to store nuclear waste, which can remain deadly for 20,000 years, and the thousands of adults and children, dying each year of cancer from contaminates of nuclear waste, bomb sites, uranium mines, even the cooling water and steam from nuclear reactors needs to stop. The continuing nuclear waste which is leaking into our water, food, agriculture and air, needs your immediate attention.
Consider also, that scientists, scholars and even the Bible, have predicted catastrophic weather changes and mass earthquakes beginning within our near future. We must act now to prevent waste sites from leaking into our waters, food supplies and prepare safeguards in the event of meltdowns.
Your time and contributions are needed to help the environment in new ways, computer systems to handle educational process , web site provision for research and distribution of GDR.
We challenge your alliance with this cause
to continue what may become a piece of history. And to take action now
before more lives are lost and the future catches up with the past.

There are brilliant people
out there
We can't leave it to others who have failed in telling the full extent
of the radiation dilemma. It is a fact known to most of us that there are
brilliant people out there, scientists, physicists, inventors, and researchers
who have discovered ways and means to circumvent most of our wasteful ways;
but their light is being extinguished by the few greedy ones at the top
of corporations and nations, for their own concerns.
So we are led to go blindly along for our own selfish comfort and to
our downfall. For now the Deactivation of Radiation is the most current
concern. For the future of all mankind we must change our ways.

The ancients possessed something that we seem to lack today. I call it "simplified ingenuity". This is evident in the thousands and thousands of buildings, writings and things that we are digging up around the world every year. The problem I believe that we have today is the fact that we are only using less than 10% of our brains. Thus, the things that we come up with and construct, while seemingly brilliant, fail to compare with the things of the past; things made by humans with a much larger brain usage than we have today - things that improved the lives of men, yet preserved the earth and its resources.
The second law of Thermodynamics is also known as the Law of Entropy. This law basically states that everything goes from order to disorder given time (in TOTAL contradiction to the bankrupt THEORY of evolution). I believe this is the case with the human brain as well. Once far superior, now less than 10% in use. That is a 90% unemployment rate right between our ears!! :-)
In our quest for enlightenment, science and technology we create things today with great benefit - but with equally great negative ramifications.
We can build a state of the art sky scraper. We fill it with offices containing carpets with chemicals which out-gas and make us sick. We fill it with pipes and wiring covered with asbestos. It gets hot so we install industrial air conditioners. It gets cold, so we build heating units. The list goes on and on from plumbing to computers. When we build these structures we bring in steal, aluminum, wood, concrete and sheet-rock. But how did the ancients handle such issues?
Take a journey deep into Mexico, or into the Amazon, or around the world to Egypt. You find massive temples made of stone. Made of HUGE stones weighing 100s of tons - that in many cases were quarried dozens and sometimes hundreds of miles away! How did they get those massive stones to the construction site. How were they able to build such amazing and monstrous structures, so well in many cases that you cannot even get a piece of paper in between the tightly organized stones?
How did they solve the problem of air-conditioning and plumbing in such remote and seemingly inhospitable areas of the world. You can go to some of the ancient stone temples in the middle of the steaming jungle and find that it maintains a year around temperature of 55 - to 70 degrees F - without bulky electricity using, freon circulating boxes installed all over it. A constant flow of cool air runs throughout the structure all year around, and it was built to be that way on purpose!

Going back to the pyramids at Giza. For centuries scientist, architects, pyramid specialists and archeologists have tried to come up with ways in which the ancients could have built such a massive structure. They draw diagrams of thousands of slaves in grass skirts pushing blocks on top of logs up winding ramps. They show primitive animal drawn pulley systems. All kinds of scaffolding and such around this thing in order to build it. None of these ideas hold up in practical application, which is why it remains a mystery to this day. A mystery to most of the scientific community.
But it is not a mystery to a hair dresser (with no formal education) in Southern California!
There was a great story in a recent issue of Time Magazine a few months ago. It was about a hair dresser (I believe) in California who lived in a valley where there are always very high winds. One day she was watching a documentary on television about the pyramids. During the show a strong wind picked up her pool cover which was held down with several large rocks. The cover went by the window. In frustration, she went outside to try and button things down. Then the thought occurred to her that perhaps the ancients used wind to move the stones. Later she performed a test of her own. She tied the tarp to a large stone obelisk she had in her garden. A wind came and picked it up like it was nothing and threw it a few feet away. Later she got larger tarps and did some more experiments. The larger the tarp the bigger the sail, the easier the stones were moved. Then she got real creative and rigged up a pulley system to control the movement of the stones as the wind picked them up. She got excited about her little garden-side wind tests and invited some folks from CalTech to check it out. They did their own tests and called prominent Egyptologists to come and check out the new theory. They TOTALLY rejected the idea because it did not conform to their preconceived ideas and studies. Yet it proved to be the simplest, most practical method to have been used to manipulate such large stones effectively.
I believe that the real deal is that an uneducated hair dresser showed the egg-heads up and they could not handle it. More studies are being done on this simple concept now even as we write and read this email.

The answers we seek for radiation may be more easily obtained than we realize.
Man has figured out how to cultivate pearls in oysters. It was once believed to have taken years and only the fortunate could find such treasures. Now they are grown in tanks with pre-planted dirt in domestic oysters.
It was once believed that the formation of diamonds, coal and oil could only be achieved after millions of years. Instead we found that it only takes millions of dollars and some practical application of known laws in nature and these things can be produced in the lab.
We use radiometric tests to verify the age of things that once lived or things such as rocks. We use Carbon 14 tests, Potassium-Argon and Uranium-Lead - all of which calculate time based on the formulas of "half-lives" of these materials. Carbon 14 vs. Carbon 12. Potassium decaying into Argon, Uranium into Lead. Evolutionary thinking says that many of these processes take millions of years, yet science has proven time and again that that is simply not the case. There are many secular scientists who have begun to take serious note of the Creationist's perspective on some of these issues because it holds up best to the facts as discovered more and more recently.
The Creationist maintains that the earth is less than 10,000 years old. Simple deductive reasoning based on known Natural Clocks confirm this theory: The Earth's slowing rotation, the moon's retreat from our orbit, the sun's decrease in mass, the planets pulling away from the sun, the speed at which the galaxies rotate, and NUMEROUS other known units of entopic measurements in nature are silent testaments to this concept of a young earth, solar system, galaxy and universe.
Many will agree with the conclusions I am coming to, and many will violently oppose them, but consider this...
IF the earth and the laws that govern it are in fact young, then it is certainly plausible that there may be a natural mechanism that can be modified in order to increase the rate in which radioactive materials can be decayed into inert materials. The same way scientists speed up the creation of oil in the labs. Apply that concept to finding ways of speeding up nature's natural decay rate!
Perhaps I am nothing more than an ignorant dreamer - but I am humble enough and dumb enough to think that such a thing is possible and that it may actually be easier than we think! When I consider that something as fragile as a seed of grass, is capable of breaking open, and then growing up through solid concrete to form grass patches which landscapers get paid to pluck up, I find it easy to believe that nature has a solution - we just need to find it.
Peace!
