STOP THE ENDLESS PROBLEM THROUGH SOLUTIONS, NOT CONTINUED
DUMPING AND ENDLESS, WELL DESERVED PROTESTING.

Proposal and Mission
Goals / Mission. Uses of the World Wide Web

The Need
With the current situation in radiation contamination's, health concerns regarding radiation contaminates and the environment, something new in being done. A need to find ways to deactivate, neutralize radiation has become the only direction left. GDR has begun to look for the solutions in positive directions.

The majority of scientists as a whole have looked at the deactivation of radiation as being impossible. So it has been forgotten and sequestered from creative minds. The instilled beliefs do not lay groundwork for fertile new frontiers. With new technology expanding each day, a seed has been planted to attempt this formerly impossibly idea. To date, a few, very few, scientist or others are looking. This is what GDR hopes to change and is now showing progress.

Most of the established groups working on anti radiation related issues do not have the expertise or budgets to engage in World Wide Web Internet publishing and web research. Their material, campaigns and resources are not reaching this new audience. GDR and the web is reaching throughout the world and serving mankind with education to the radiation dilemma and sharing ideas and research in the field of deactivation / neutralization of radiation.
Unfortunately there are thousands of groups world wide that protest radiation related incidents. They are forced to spend countless hours and funds in playing watchdogs for our safety. Our intention is to stop the endless problem through solutions, not the continued dumping and endless, and well deserved protesting.
Excluding GDR, there are very few visible organizations looking to promote and look for ways to deactivate radiation.

GDR
GDR was founded by Fred M Davis in the spring of 1993 and was first introduced online in spring of 1997 as a test site. While working as a business man, inventor and screenplay writer, his direct experience in research on a story in 1993’, led him to an uncanny environmental event and subsequently to form the GDR organization and the GDR web site.

Goals/Mission
A. The goal of the GDR and GDR Web site is to bring new pioneering research and to enlighten and to educate the public on the dilemma of radiation contaminates with current and past information. That information is not to spread fear, but educate the public so the need to find different ways in dealing with deadly radiation. The GDR web site currently post past, present and future information on radiation and means to deactivate it through the Internet with weekly newsletters, on-site web information and / or links to other radiation related web sites and organizations.
B.  To provide further outlets and research sites for the different methods in the deactivation of radiation.
C.  To provide an easily accessible space to share knowledge and coordinate GDR’s mission.
D.  To build and / or acquire new web tools to enhance theories and methods toward the deactivation of radiation.
E.  To acquire new tools for automatic Action Alert posting system.
F.  To acquire the use of AI systems (Artificial intelligence) to help in research.
D.  To acquire and research new systems for building an Interactive Atomic Science Room (IASR).
G.  To build a working atomic table chart.
H.  To broadcast, news releases and issues on the Internet, postal service and the News media with new findings.
I. To implement and assist in testing of research findings.
J.  To engage in efforts to inform Congress about these issues and the suppression of radiation contaminates that have been research by the government for over 50 years. To prepare legislation and policies for the importance of establishing researches and grants in the field of radiation deactivation.
K. To apply for Grants and to set up grant giving. GDR has not yet applied for grants, but has plans to pursue the many avenues. Granting, GDR would hope to achieve financial success and provide grants for related projects and to students in the field.
GDR is a public forum where people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds can learn about radiation and the environment, and find alternative ways to solve the world’s biggest environmental problem.

Additional Goals and Mission

GDR Web will also involve schools and colleges to look for new ways in finding answers to problems of such great magnitude. The Internet is a medium that is being embraced by the young and the established generations. The use of the free Internet access, which is standard at colleges and universities, will enhance the interest of the environment and the popularity of GDR’s alternative directions.

Uses of the World Wide Web
The World Wide Web is a part of the Internet, a worldwide computer network that allows nearly - instantaneous communications between computers and their users. Owners of Web sites have "pages" which they can fill with formatted text, pictures, discussion groups/bulletin boards, action alert systems and an interactive atomic science room. Information can be updated instantly, and pages can be endlessly cross-referenced.
The Internet is a very important medium for those interested in environmental activism. Millions of people are now on-line using electronic mail, newsgroups and the World Wide Web. The Internet is fast becoming a major source of information for these users.
The Web opens up a wonderful opportunity. Because of the relatively low costs of Web research and web publishing, it allows a wider field of research and distribution and almost instant access of material. Only a few years ago, the same research would take have taken years.  These factors are creating new environments for political, environmental activists, scientist, and researchers and organizing opportunities.

To date, GDR has posted numerous forms of research in the deactivation of radiation along with elements that adversely affect radiation and prove great promise. GDR has spent countless hours developing the GDR web and researching these different means and not only receives new information and or new means, but also shares it with others. From the shared research, one company is now applying for funding to extract radiation for waterways.  Although extraction is not deactivation, progress is being made.

GDR Web Discussion boards. Once in place will allow for anyone to communicate on a given topic related to radiation and the deactivation of it; leaving their comments, building a data base of information right on the web site.

GDR Action Alert posting system, which makes it easy for groups to broadcast their messages by e-mail to hundreds of supporters worldwide.

GDR AI systems (Artificial intelligence) to help in research. With the paralleled advancements in Artificial intelligence and the uses of AI systems with the Internet, GDR plans to implement these new AI programs

GDR Interactive Atomic Science Room (IASR). With the evolution and innovations of the web growing at astounding speeds, GDR plans to begin building the first interactive animated science room. This area of the site (animated like the spinning atom on the main page of GDR’s site) should allow any user of the web site to see the full spectrum of life like atoms and their properties. Allowing them to mix atoms with different components and see them engaged and mixes into scientifically correct results. Also providing a place to test theory with new experiments. The Interactive atomic science room, although slightly ahead of its time, will become something every student, science teacher and researcher will find an amazing place to visit and use. This in it’s self will provide novelty and further notoriety to GDR.

The pending Board Directors for the GDR Web and research includes laymen, environmentalist, scientists to PHD’s

Billions of Dollars are being spent on ways to clean up radiation, dispose of radiation, store radiation, ship it, etc. It is time a small portion is delegated to rendering it safe.
The www.gdr.org web site has now accumulated enough information under the deactivation of radiation web pages to show progress is now being made. Much more info and research is need, but the GDR progress is setting the stage.

GDR preliminary budget

Budget
GDR has been slow getting to its true mission, but has been making progress with great promise.
Since its inception, GDR has been an all volunteer project. The founder and others have been working as volunteers.
Below is the estimated budget for the GDR and the GDR Web. With it, GDR will be able to continue to devote full attention to the project. The work of the GDR’s Web will continue even without this budget because this work is too important not to continue.
Further, large scale funding will be sought when needed.
The estimated budget for GDR , for 1999 and the year 2008, is:

Donation Information
GDR is a project of the Global Deactivation of Radiation and EEG, and is pending a 501(c) 3 nonprofit filing and all donations are not covered as tax-deductible at this time. We hope to soon rectify this and will post the filings as they are completed and accepted. It has not been the main concern to file non-profit papers or seek funding, rather to do research for GDR. Now with a growing need to begin to spread the information and reach out to the world, the non-profit status will become a priority.
Checks should be made out to the Fred Davis with notation on bottom "Global Deactivation of Radiation" or “GDR” and sent to;
